Minors Visiting SLAC

SLAC strives to be a science laboratory that fosters learning and scientific breakthroughs.  As such, we want to inspire future scientific talent. SLAC recognizes that it is desirable to bring children and other interested minors on site to learn about the lab and our research. We recognize that, occasionally, it may also be necessary for workers to bring their children to work for other short-term reasons.  In line with this, the Lab has an overriding obligation to provide a Minors Visiting SLAC policy to protect children from harm, prevent unscheduled work disruptions, and ensure the laboratory is in compliance with federal, state and Stanford requirements.
