After the initial hire, an employee’s job content may and often will change. Small changes are reflected in routine updates to the description of the job. More significant changes are handled by: (1) filling a requisition, (2) reclassification, (3) transfer, (4) temporary upgrade, and (5) re-assignment. This document provides general guidelines for these actions. All actions resulting in a change of funding amount or source must be reviewed by the relevant financial planners or business managers..
