The purpose of this policy is to provide requirements regarding the authorized service, consumption, and associated storage (collectively, “use ”) of alcoholic beverages on the SLAC site or at SLAC - sponsored functions (collectively, “at SLAC”). The Laboratory Director authorizes the use of alcoholic beverages at SLAC. Alcoholic beverag es may only be used in designated areas at SLAC, and at specific times, with the prior written authorization of the Laboratory Director or delegate.
