All Stanford University employees, and all SLAC faculty, employees, and joint appointees (hereinafter, “Designated Personnel”), are subject to applicable Stanford University Administrative Guide, Research Policy Handbook, and Faculty Handbook policies regarding conflict of commitment and interest. In addition, under the Management and Operating contract with the Department of Energy (DOE), Designated Personnel are also subject to certain additional procedures and requirements. The purpose of this policy memorandum is to reaffirm applicable Stanford University policies applicable to Designated Personnel, along with the additional SLAC procedures and requirements.
